This is a beautiul setting for weddings, graduation phtotos, and just enjoy relaxing in the sorrounding gardens and green space. The Little Village Chapel is the most recent addition to the Historic Village. This 1930's era "Sears & Roebuck building kit" was donated to the City by the congregation of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. The building was moved in 2001 from East Liberty Street to its current site.
TO INQUIRE ABOUT USE OF THE LITTLE VILLAGE CHAPEL FOR WEDDINGS OR MEMORIAL SERVICES, PLEASE CALL LINDA AT 248-437-9142, OR EMAIL US AT SOUTHLYONAHS@GMAIL.COM. THE CHAPEL IS AVAILABLE FOR WEDDINGS: $400 FOR A SOUTH LYON RESIDENT, $450 FOR A NON-RESIDENT. THE CONTRACT INCLUDES USE OF THE FREIGHT HOUSE, IF NEEDED. CONTRACT TERMS INCLUDE MEETING WITH THE WEDDING COORDINATOR, REVIEWING RULES AND REGULATIONS PRIOR TO THE EVENT, OPENING AND CLOSING OF THE BUILDINGS ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT, AND THE NECESSARY TIME FOR THE COORDINATOR TO BE PRESENT FOR THE EVENT.
