Arbor Day 2025

On Friday, April 25, 2025, South Lyon citizens gathered ouside of the Chapel in the Historic Village. After an Arbor Day proclamation was read by South Lyon Mayor Steve Kennedy, a Red Maple tree was planted by the South Lyon Area Girl Scouts Brownie Troop 77575. The tree can be seen in the lawn area in front of the Historic Chapel and the adjacent flower garden. Thank you to the Brownies and to Mayor Kennedy!
